P.E.D. Inc. was started in May of 1991. Gary Pugh has been involved with building and machining engines since 1970, when still in high school. Since that time he has been constantly learning how to make more power using cars, boats, flowbenches and engine dyno's to figure out what works best for individual situations.

When P.E.D. opened it's doors we were using 2,900 square feet of the building. As of January 2000 we have added on five different times and we now use 6,669 square feet with room to grow.

At the very begining we realized that one or two people can't do everything. When we started there was Gary & Debbi Pugh and one machinist. In nine years we have been able to form a terrific team that we are very proud of. In future months we will highlight members of our team which, we are proud to say, consists of one counterman and five machinists. This give us a full time team of 8 employees.

Our plan is for constant growth, in our knowledge, facility, and equipment. We are attending seminars and industry shows at all times to enable us to stay on the current edge of technology and not be passed by.
